May 8, 2016 – Toronto – Riding a wave of confidence, the KBFC Academy U-12 Boy’s team registered their first SAAC Development regular season win today, and then proceeded to the daily double with a sweep of two matches against more experienced ORNCA academies, making for a joyful bus ride home for players and parents alike.

The Kingston-Belleville lads fell a goal behind in their Sunday morning game against the Toronto Skillz Academy U-12 Boys, but then progressively took command of the match with four unanswered goals for their maiden victory in the SAAC Development League regular season, winning 4-1 on a pair of goals by Adrian Dagres, and singles by Teagan Good and Reda Hussain.

In the afternoon contest, against the International FC Academy, the KBFC Academy rode goals by Reda Hussain, Tae Bramley-Austin and Leo Marte to earn the sweep of the weekend matches with a 3-0 shutout win and a clean sheet for keeper Alex Zabukovec.

April 18, 2016 – Ottawa -The KBFC Academy U-12 Boy’s team made a giant leap forward for elite level soccer in Eastern Ontario on Saturday, April 18th when they joined with the Kevin Nelson Soccer Academy (KNSA) for the first friendly match between the region’s only OSA/ORNCA-accredited youth Soccer Academies.

While the 4-0 scoreline flattered the KBFC youngsters, the match was as much about the spirit of cooperation and unity between the two regional ORNCA academies, as about the result on the pitch! Both Academies will be entering teams this summer season in the Soccer Academy Alliance of Canada (SAAC) League and Development League.
