Waterloo, Ontario – June 3, 2012: Defender Ryan McCurdy and goalkeeper Shane Lopez each made an immediate impact for Kingston FC as they beat SC Waterloo 1-0 for the expansion club’s second consecutive win. McCurdy and Lopez, who are both newcomers to the Kingston FC lineup, accounted for the offence and the defense, as McCurdy scored the game’s only goal and Lopez produced a stellar clean sheet in net.

A well-coached group of Windsor Stars took control early to eventually dominate Kingston FC with a 5-0 victory at the Invista Centre in Kingston, the only game played in the CSL First Division Saturday.

The visitors took the lead at the 17th minute mark when forward Stephen Ademolu beat Kingston FC goalkeeper Morgan Kenny with a low shot and Alexander Rickett made it 2-0 four minutes later.

Sunday May 13, 2012 – Kingston’s new Canadian Soccer League team – Kingston FC – gained its first point of the season Saturday evening with a 1-1 tie against the York Region Shooters.  The tie – after an opening game 4-2 loss – left Kingston FC in ninth place among the league’s 16 teams, though two teams have yet to open their season.

Kingston, Ontario – Sunday May 6, 2012: Kingston FC slipped behind 3-0 by early in the second half, closed the gap to 3-2 by the 65th minute, but lost 4-2 to Toronto FC Academy in their historic opening game Saturday night of their first Canadian Soccer League season.  It was a hard-fought and well-played battle highlighted by the expansion team’s spirited second half comeback at the brand new Invista Centre in Kingston.

TFC Academy spoils Kingston FC’s CSL debut 4-2

TFC Academy, the senior academy team of Toronto FC, defeated Kingston FC 4-2 in well-played home opener of the CSL regular season at the Invista Sports Complex at Kingston Saturday.

This is Kingston FC’s inaugural season in the CSL First Division following two seasons playing exhibition games as Prospect FC against CSL reserve teams in 2010 and entering the CSL Second Division in 2011.
