After being frustrated for nearly 30 minutes while Waterloo played ball control to protect a 4-0 lead, Kingston FC‘s 1st Division squad finally broke through with two late goals but still lost 4-2.

Waterloo took advantage of a couple of defensive lapses and two corner kicks to run up the 4-0 score in the first half.

After the half, Waterloo kept most of its players back passing the ball around and trying – mostly successfully – to keep the ball away from Kingston.

However at the 74th minute mark, Akil DeFreitas finally scored for Kingston.

Croatia has 17 points; Burlington 16 and Kingston 14 so Kingston can catch Croatia and pass Burlington if they can defeat those two teams when they play them – and Kingston has a game in hand against Burlington.
