News Release from Kingston FC – October 9th, 2014

It’s sudden death time for both of Kingston FC’s professional soccer teams on Saturday.

Kingston’s reserves – which finished first in the Canadian Soccer League’s second division – and lost only one game all season – play first – at one o’clock at Mary Ann Sills Park in Belleville. Their opponents are Brampton a team they narrowly defeated 2-1 in the final game of the regular season last Sunday.

Kingston’s first team – which finished third in the first division – plays at 6:15 at Queen’s West Campus. Their opponent is Serbian White Eagles. Kingston lost to Serbia 1-0 back in July but won 3-1 in Toronto in September. However Serbia has added some new players and should be a tougher challenge than they were less than a month ago.

If either game is tied at the end of regulation time there will be overtime and – if the score is still tied – a shoot-out.

The loser’s season is over. The winner goes on to the league semi-final.

A single ticket will cover both games.
